Starting Out: Growing up in Bolton is Bolton Museum & Library's big exhibition this summer exploring 100 years of being young in Bolton. Packed with classic toys, games, photographs and local people’s memories, it will take you on a trip back into childhood.

A special section of the exhibition celebrates the joy and creativity of youth culture, especially through music, curated in collaboration with the Museum of Youth Culture.

Alongside the exhibition, the Museums collaborated to develop a short video sharing stories of teen life in Bolton, produced with a group of local young people.
